Text Selection Productivity Chrome Extension

A Chrome extension that shows a contextual toolbar when users select text on any webpage. The toolbar provides AI, translation, dictionary, and productivity actions based on the selected content.

The codebase contains approximately 16,500 lines of code and is built using React 19 and TypeScript. The extension is published on the Chrome Web Store and can be transferred. A separate landing page is included, built with Astro 5, Tailwind CSS, and GSAP animations. PostHog analytics is already integrated.

When text is selected, the toolbar offers AI-related actions such as sending the selected text to ChatGPT using custom prompts and interacting with a built-in Google Gemini assistant.

It also includes text utilities like Google Translate with automatic language detection, dictionary lookup using Merriam-Webster, a calculator that detects mathematical expressions in text, and text-to-speech using the Chrome TTS API.

For general productivity, it supports copying text to the clipboard, searching on Google, looking up Wikipedia entries, detecting and opening URLs, and sharing content via the Web Share API.

The frontend is built with React 19, TypeScript 5.8, and Vite 7. Styling is done using Tailwind CSS 4 and shadcn/ui components. State management is handled with Valtio. The extension uses Chrome Manifest V3 and CRXJS. The landing page is built with Astro 5 and GSAP.

The project is being transferred due to time constraints and lack of capacity to actively grow or monetize it.

The transfer includes full access to the GitHub repository, Chrome Web Store developer transfer, landing page source code, and all related assets and icons. An optional 30-minute onboarding call is available.
