Publisher Community Platform with Integrated Site Audit Tools

A community for people who build, run and monetise websites, running on the same domain since April 2020.

What makes it unusual is that the community is wrapped around a working software suite. Ten tools cover site auditing, keyword research, marketplace analysis and AI workflows. Those tools are the front door: people find them through Google, use them free, and a share of them stay and register. That community now stands at 28,594 accounts.

Over the last twelve months the platform drew 16,900 clicks from 593,000 Google impressions, with 35,000 pages indexed. The strongest tool, a site eligibility auditor, accounts on its own for 12,173 of those clicks from 79,754 impressions, a 15.3 percent click-through rate and above 20 percent on its head keywords.

None of it has ever been sold to. Ads are installed but placement has never been tuned. All ten tools are priced and wired to live Stripe billing, yet no campaign has ever run. The 28,594 members have never received a structured email, although the sending infrastructure is built and working.

Fifty-nine people paid anyway, with no funnel and no outreach. Lifetime gross revenue is 489.88 dollars against server costs of about 15 dollars a month. Recurring revenue currently sits at zero, because subscriptions lapsed while my attention was elsewhere.

What holds the value is harder to rebuild than the revenue. The domain has had one owner since 2020 and has taken zero manual actions in six years. Twenty-two domains link to it editorially, among them a national business magazine, a Canadian research university and the official blog of a major JavaScript framework. None were paid for. The platform is a custom SvelteKit and PostgreSQL build of 140,666 lines across 2,039 commits.
