Expense Splitting Android App with React Native Backend

SplitEase is a ready-to-launch Android app for easily tracking and splitting expenses between friends. Users can add friends, record shared expenses, track balances, settle up, attach receipts, and send payment reminders.

The app is built with React Native 0.84 and uses Supabase/PostgreSQL for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions, with Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications.

A key feature is the shadow-friend system, which allows users to record expenses with friends who haven't joined the app yet. When the friend signs up, their account can automatically be linked to their existing expenses.
