About this listing
Fauxto is a one-tap AI prank photo generator. It is early - live for under a month - and currently doing around €100/week at roughly 80% gross margin.
Users pick one of 12 ready-made scenarios - a scratched car, a ruined haircut, a cracked phone, a shaved head, a burst tyre, an adopted dog - upload a photo, and get a believable edited version back in about ten seconds, ready to send straight to a friend on WhatsApp or Snapchat.
The entire product is built around removing friction. There is no prompt to write, no settings to understand, no account wall and no subscription. Photos are €1 each and cheaper in bulk, credits never expire, and a failed generation is automatically refunded. Pick a prank, upload, pay, send.
Distribution comes from short-form video. The output is inherently screenshot-and-repost material, which is why creator videos convert well - and why revenue tracks creator reach closely.
Fauxto also ships with compliance that most tools in this category skip entirely. Every generated image carries provenance metadata and machine-readable AI marking in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, uploads are deleted within 24 hours, photos of minors are automatically rejected, and there is a public image-reporting route plus full terms, privacy and CGV/CGU pages. For any buyer operating in or selling into the EU, that groundwork is done, live and documented.
The stack is deliberately boring and cheap to run: Vercel hosting, Stripe payments, and a third-party image generation API billed per job. Fixed costs are negligible and generation cost is only incurred on a paid order, so the site cannot lose money at low volume.
What you are buying: a finished, legally-buttoned-up product with proven willingness to pay, priced to reflect how early it is. The upside is distribution, and that is the part a new owner brings.
